Maharani in Ottobrunn

Nice Indian restaurant in Ottobrunn. We picked up two dishes with some naan. Everything was very tasty, the portions big enough. My extra wish 'spicy' was on point. Gladly again! :)

Dear Sir or Madam, Today, as so often, I wanted to pick up several lunch menus and pay them including a tip. However, this time the lady asked for a surcharge for a small portion of extra rice. When I remarked that this was never the case in the past, she contradicted me and claimed that it had ALWAYS been like that. It's a shame that the Maharani LIES so brazenly.

Smallest portions I have ever seen. Ordered takeout and the curry literally had 2 pieces of chicken. Taste was average and curry very liquid

And friendly staff, I just wanted to talk to my staff and then eat something. A guy comes and says just have to eat something just for a drink. Then I said, "OK I'll be right" but still said no because we were with work trousers. That's a shame. We are furniture fitters as we are wasn't that dirty either, restaurant not that luxury either THAT'S JUST BAD STREET not even a restaurant snack bar ...

Food was tasty. The ambiance and crispy honey gobi were the main attraction for us 😊😊😊

The dishes were very well prepared and therefore taste good. The service, here it was a gentleman, is terrible. No address, no inquiry, awkward serving. Nevertheless, I gave a tip which was wordlessly "painted". It's a shame how the Maharani in Ottobrunn is developing.

Nice and helpful staff. Comfortable and welcoming environment. Good quality food. Right prices. For those coming by car there is a reserved parking lot. Recommended!

Super relaxed and great service. All in all a great evening. Can I only recommend for anyone who loves the great Indian food. Every wish was fulfilled and no question was too much.

Usually everything fits there, great food and good service. Yesterday, however, the kitchen was overwhelmed, we had to wait over an hour for the food. In terms of taste, it was very good again. Let's hope that this evening remains an exception.

Ordered takeaway food from Maharani.. Rich taste, loved the veg. Jalfrezi and okra/ chickpeas though the same sauce is used for several dishes. Tikka and lamb was ok too. Rice was a bit more oily than usual. Noticed one can sit outside which is a plus..

As always sooooo delicious! Although the lunch table is extremely cheap, the portions are large enough to be comfortably full. We are happy that we can finally sit down comfortably again. Excellent cuisine and super nice team! To you very soon!

I am very excited! I usually don't tolerate spicy food so well, but there is enough choice of mild dishes here. The food is super delicious and the atmosphere totally pleasant. Friendly and courteous staff, you feel very well cared for. I have eaten with friends at Maharani many times and everyone is more than satisfied, even those who prefer spicier food. I also like to support my favorite restaurant in the Corona pandemic!

The best Indian restaurant I’ve been by far in Munich. The food is perfect!

We ended up here by accident. What luck, because it was a very successful evening. We were treated by the junior manager as you would dream: like a very welcome guest. Friendly, unobtrusive, but always attentive. The food was then the continuation of the excellent personal atmosphere and simply delicious. Each dish had its own note. Looked different (this is not the case with all Indian restaurants), tasted different, but everything was prepared from noticeably fresh and high-quality ingredients and flavored with fine flavors. Little things that are unfortunately not a matter of course: our junior was offered a smaller portion of his desired dish. This was still too abundant for him. Conclusion: it could hardly be better! We came as strangers and felt like we said goodbye to friends while walking! We will definitely come back.

A very nice and good restaurant. We were here with our daughter. It all tasted very good, everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The portions are not really big BUT completely sufficient! Price performance absolutely justified. Many thanks to everyone in the restaurant! Until next time

First time I am forced to write a negative review about an eatery. Paneer Butter masala tastes like tomato paste. When I gave the feedback, I was told this is how we make paneer butter masala here. Horrible naan. Waited for 1 hour to get our order

This restaurant was good and I was a frequent visitor till last year. But this time I was quite disappointed - bad food quality, very expensive, and less quantity

Very rude service and mean staff. Apparantly the staff of this restaurant believe that you should visit this place only for dining and not for an evening coffee and some Indian snacks. I would have appreciated that fact if there was a board which stated the same. Or even in the worst case if the staff there behaved politely about the issue. I have been to this restaurant 5 to 6 times now and I had a worst experience this time because of two important characters. Mr. One: elderly person who seemed like a senior staff Mr. Two : younger Male staff. Surprisingly I was never attended by these guys in my previous visits. This is what happened to me: " I walk in to the restaurant with a couple of my friends and take a table. Me: Mr. Two we are here for some coffee. Mr. Two: that's not possible you need to order food.(in the rudest way possible) Me: well I will order some snack in that case. Mr. Two, makes faces as if we dont deserve to sit in the restaurant anymore and hands us the menu and leaves us stranded. We wait for nearly 5 minutes while Mr. Two is busy taking orders from other people and passes by us a number of times unattended though we indicate to him that we are ready to place the order. After actually stopping him and questioning if he was willing to take the order or not he sends his assistant to take the order. In the meantime he goes and starts discussing about the issue with Mr. One by pointing fingers at us and we are able to notice that he is making comments on us and making us feel as uncomfortable as possible. It doesn't stop there. Here Mr. One the elderly staff comes to our table and says now that u have placed ur snacks order u need to order the main course just to belittle us. And later when we explain we have informed earlier that we are not here for dining he says well this restaurant is not for an evening coffee in the ugliest way possible. I was startled and felt devastated at this point. I was the one to take my friends here and the staff at this restaurant decide to ruin our evening. To add up to what they have already done Mr. Two comes to our table and removes the water glasses that were on the table just to make the situation even worse. At the end when we try to confront the two they behave as if we were the ones trying to make a fuss about the issue. I want my readers to decide upon this, as to who's mistake it was. My side of argument is just this: 1. The restaurant doesn't not specify that you need to order main course if you visit this restaurant. 2. We made our point clear at the very beginning even before placing the order. 3. I have placed my share of order and also paid the money for what I ordered. My concerns are: - Me and my friends (frankly anybody) did not deserve that kind of treatment when our whole intention was to have a nice chat over a coffee with some Indian snacks to munch on. - hospitality is the first quality for any hotel business and this restaurant lacks it completely. I leave my readers to decide for themselves if this restaurant is worth a visit or not. And I pity the owner of this restaurant who happens to have recruited two of the worst staffs ever in the hotel business. Who happen to have decided to defame the restaurant.

Very very bad food with small quantity (Thank god) and with very unfriendly employees. I got not cooked chicken without any masala. I doubt they r Indian and they are just making indian foods notorious . It was a total disaster for me to go there
